OpenAI CEO Sam Altman wins dismissal of sister's lawsuit

US district judge Zachary Bluestone dismissed a lawsuit filed by Sam Altman's sister, Ann, against him, alleging sexual abuse from 1997 to 2006.
Ann's refusal to attend an independent medical examination led to the case being thrown out. Sam Altman denies the accusations, and the family stated they have supported Ann financially and are concerned for her wellbeing. The case was filed in January 2025 in the Eastern District of Missouri.
