Saudi Arabia Turns to Singapore for Oil Storage
Published · 1 min read
Saudi Arabia has agreed to store crude oil in underground caverns in Singapore, following Houthi attacks on Saudi infrastructure.
The oil will be stored in the Jurong Rock Caverns, with deliveries set to begin in the second half of next year. This arrangement enhances Saudi and Singapore's resilience and supports the flexibility of the supply network. Both countries see potential for further cooperation, given Asia's importance as a key market for Middle Eastern producers.
