In 2026, the market for folding smartphones expands with options from Samsung, Apple, Motorola, and Google.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 and Z Fold8 Ultra stand out with their refined designs and powerful camera systems, though the latter is bulkier. Apple's iPhone Duo offers a polished debut with a clever hinge and durable design, though it lacks some features. Motorola's Razr Ultra and Razr Fold provide stylish and durable alternatives, with the Ultra offering a larger battery. Google's Pixel 11 Pro Fold and Oppo Find N6 also impress with their camera systems and design, though the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is slightly superior. Xiaomi's Mix Flip adds to the mix with its flip design and strong performance, though it is less expensive.
