OpenBSD 8.0 arrives with security record still intact
Published · 1 min read
OpenBSD 8.0, the 61st release of the project, has arrived with Intel Arc support and ARM64 hibernation capabilities.
The update continues the operating system's tradition of semiannual releases since 1996 and maintains its strong security record, with only two remote vulnerabilities in the default install over thirty years. The new version also expands virtual address space, enhancing compatibility with modern graphics cards.
