The Boox Palma 2 Pro, a $400 smartphone-sized e-reader, has convinced the reviewer to stop reading on their phone.
It features a front-lit E Ink screen that can be dimmed to a low level, making it ideal for nighttime reading without disturbing others. The device is also portable and versatile, supporting third-party apps, and has a longer battery life than a typical smartphone. However, it has a steep price and some ghosting issues.
