TechCrunch Mobility: Blue-green is the color of autonomy

U.S. federal safety regulators have proposed new lighting requirements for autonomous vehicles, suggesting the use of cyan-colored lights to indicate when a vehicle is operating autonomously.
GM is overhauling its vehicles for faster software updates and plans to introduce autonomous highway driving in 2028. Rivian acquired Third Dimension, an AI startup, to improve simulation capabilities. Meanwhile, Waymo is expanding its robotaxi services to Spain, while Tesla is preparing to sell its Cybercab to customers and is focusing on its AI and robotics future. TechCrunch Mobility also announced a Founder Summit in Boston for startup founders and investors.
