Published · 1 min read

An industrial incident on October 21 at the Rogun Dam in Tajikistan disrupted construction work, with reports of either no injuries or at least five workers being injured.

A ruptured water tank caused water to gush into a tunnel, trapping workers according to some sources. Tajik officials have acknowledged eight accidents at the site but provided few details. The incident has raised safety concerns, considering the dam's planned height as the world's tallest.
